About Wild Minds

Wild Minds provides specialist alternative provision for children and young people aged 11 to 25 who require a more personalised, supportive approach to education and therapeutic support.

We work with students who may be experiencing barriers to learning within mainstream settings, including anxiety, school avoidance, neurodivergence, or social, emotional and mental health needs. Our provision offers a calm, structured environment where relationships come first, and where each young person is supported to feel safe, understood, and able to re-engage with learning.

Our approach combines therapeutic mentoring with meaningful vocational and academic pathways. Students have the opportunity to work towards recognised qualifications, including AQA Unit Awards, ASDAN, and NOCN, while developing confidence, independence, and real-life skills that support long-term outcomes.

At Wild Minds, we focus on consistent, trusted relationships and a regulation-first approach. Our experienced team works closely with each student to understand their individual needs, strengths, and goals, creating tailored programmes that support both personal development and future progression.

We work in partnership with local authorities, schools, and families to provide flexible placements, including EHCP and Section 19 provision, part-time timetables, and transition support. Our aim is always to help young people move forward, whether that is returning to education, progressing into further training, or preparing for employment.
